My 1st Mock

hii... yesterday i gave my 1st mock CAT test. It was a scholarship test at an institute Bull's eye for CAT 2011. I just wanted to experience a mock and it would help me to know about the test pattern and help me analyze myself a bit.

Well i must say the experience was a good one. Started with DI followed by VA and then Maths.
Decently attempted the DI and the VA section, though i think i messed up in maths thats where i have to work i guess. i had no idea of the questions . Its not that i can't do maths but with time i think have lost all grip and it will need all the practice to get back so i have to work on maths.

VA was a decent attempt though there it also has to be improved a lot.

DI as they say have only scheme. PRACTICE. so i guess.... for DI just start practicing.
Overall. it was a good experience and gives me a bit of confidence to come in the flow for next yrs CAT.

Meeting old friends

met a couple of old friends today , my best buddies.... rahul dua and karan khara, my childhood bud..... sat fr a cpl of hrs .......had a talk abt our future.. wat everyone of us wanted to do..... was a long talk taking in every detail from our respective families to condition of india in 10 yrs........ seem to b confused btw 2 very good options - ias and mba...... good 2 see everyone gearing up for the future.....

well fortunately i have decided and i m clear till nw abt my CAT 2011 goal.... and then may b god willing settling in my dream city, dubai.........well dats way ahead. right now lets concentrate on d studying..... need to chalk out every day for the next 1yr...... i hope i can concentrate and make a well routine once i college starts and wrk hard........ and achieve my goal and fulfill my dream...

Good Signs....

today was a satisfying day.....
studied VA for say 2 hrs....
went thoroughly through the HINDU.......misanalysed (:p) an editorial....... though was a good attempt..... solved 5 parajumbles on PG.......

PG is a great help ......found out today....

hope to continue like this .... also have to start with QA but dont feel like....
lets hope for the best

An inspirational holiday

hii... posting after a long time. Spent a holiday for 15 days with my cousin place in dubai... which was total fun.. with a some great food, great place to hang out,some shopping, some really hot chicks....in short a perfect holiday to refresh my self from the regular indian routine.

Apart from the fun, i realised only way to get over there and live such a lifestyle would be a mba degree from one of the top 20 institutions from the country....

can't explain the motivation i got form there, the place , their royal and comfortable life .. and besides that wen i c myself there after say 4-5 yrs, the only thing that comes to my mind to achieve that is to crack CAT and get into one of those fantasy colleges.

So here i m fully motivated to start preparing for CAT 2011 in full force.
Before that, has to sort some things like preparing a time table, plan out the next one year how i have to go about preparing...will plan this in the coming tym
